Transitions

Hey y'all,
The nights are growing longer here, and you wear a sweater out of the house in the morning, but then as it gets warmer you take it off and put it in the backseat of your car. But if you have a brain like mine, you forget to take it in at night, so the next morning you rush out to the car and put on a cold sweater.
Good times.
I wanted to bring you up to date on some stuff. I took this new gig, and it's good, and I like it, but it has all my rhythms in an uproar. I wrote the Members earlier this week, explaining in more detail, but the short version is that until I get back in a rhythm, things will be a bit chaotic around here. Eventually, a routine will work itself out, but until it does, my publishing outward-facing work will slow somewhat.
I wrote a fair amount this week - a 1000-word letter to people who follow my day job (You can be on that list by signing up here), and another long letter to the Membership team that supports my writing. And I successfully transitioned my Monday newsletter, Life Is So Beautiful, to a new platform, so I am now Mailchimp-free. All of that is working ON the writing business, but not writing. But next week should be better.
This week, I didn't publish anything on the blog. Last November, I wrote my way out of the end of a depressive episode by doing a 30-day gratitude project - you can see the entries here.
Rather than stretch this out, I'm gonna go now. But I'll be back in the saddle soon, and in the meantime, please know how grateful I am for all of you, and the life I get to live because people like you read my stuff.
Y'all are the best.
